The pool (the 1996 Olympic Pool) will
be split into two 10-lane 25-yard pools, separated by two bulk-heads
and two buffer lanes. One pool will be used for competition; the other
may be utilized as a warm-down area. See the website above for more

Additional Information on
Entries
Swimmers may enter a total of SIX (6)
total individual events, not including the 25 free. Thus, one could
enter the 25 free and six other events. The 25 yard freestyle is a fun
event, and everyone is encouraged to enter. All seed times should be
short course yards. Each team may enter as many relay teams as they
wish for any or each of the five relay events. Relays will only be swum
at finals.

Fees |
Teams pay $10.00 per swimmer, up to
$200. Checks made out to "Georgia Tech Swim Club" should either be
mailed in or handed in at the Coach’s Meeting at the meet.
Please hand in entry fees before the meet begins to avoid
disqualification.

Top 16 swimmers in preliminaries qualify for finals. |
|
Late Entries |
Double check your entries to avoid
mistakes. No late entries are accepted with the exception of exhibition
swims, as a psych sheet is posted before the meet begins. |

Coaches Meeting |
There will be a coaches meeting ten minutes before
the meet starts on Friday only. Questions or concerns
during the course of the meet should be addressed to the
meet director. |

Results |
One copy of the results will be given
to each team at the end of the meet. In addition, results will be
posted here after the meet. |
|
Awards |
Ribbons will be awarded to the top 8
finishers in each individual event. A plaque will be presented to the
first, second, and third place scoring team for both men and women, as
well as the top team overall. Individual high point awards will also be
given to the top scoring male and female athlete. |

Scoring |
Scoring will be done in
championship format, and will be based on results from
finals, please see the meet information packet for
details |
|
Food |
Athletes and coaches are allowed to
bring refreshments and coolers, but NO GLASS is allowed on the pool
deck. Concessions are also available. |
|
T-Shirts |
East Coast Championship T-shirts
will be available. Price and design TBA. |
|
Admission |
This meet is free to all spectators. |
